CONSIDER THIS; your very survival depends on it!
Only when you are at peace with yourselves can you begin to see and appreciate the beauty that I have with great love tried to convey to you from the beginning of time. The degree to which you see beauty in the world is your personal testament of your own internal love, peace, and harmony.
Just as how you treat others is a direct response to how you feel about yourselves. Likewise how you treat the only planet that modern science can unequivocally prove can sustain life as you know it, is also a reflection of how you feel about yourself, as an individual as well as a collective.
I liken Myself to that of a woman. Just as a woman can relate to giving and nurturing those she loves. Only to be treated, as though it is her birthright to be life’s doormat. Yet she continues to give, hoping, and praying that one day those she loves will see her value and just simply appreciate her. In your society the words doormat and woman are synonymous.
I, your Planet,–Mother Earth, feel the same way; raped, used for my treasures, unappreciated, and not given any consideration for how I bring forth and sustain life. I too have hoped and prayed that one day you would see the error of your ways and awaken to the pure joy of living life in harmony with me. And like the woman, I have patiently waited and waited . . .
As women, you indelibly understand how it feels to endure the arduous process of pregnancy, labor, and delivery only to have someone who does not appreciate the beauty of life take the child that you labored so hard to bring forth. Take him or her and mutilate, molest, and destroy their quest for life. Likewise, I– Mother Earth has endured the same pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
Perhaps you think the concept of the Earth giving birth, a ridiculous notion. The fact of the matter is; every Spring without fail, I give birth to what most of you consider your favorite time of year. In your cold climates who do you think protects the root systems of the plant world and the insects, how is it that they do not freeze to death? Because I hold them in the warmth of my womb and nourish, nurture and protect them until the conditions are ripe for them to live outside of my womb. Is this not the same phenomena that women experience in pregnancy?
I give birth to the grass, the oceans, lakes, trees, wildlife, insects, all of which you see are MY children, including you. Isn’t your belief system that from the dust of the Earth you come, and so you shall return? Or do you not really believe that? Only to have you, that this beauty was created in conjunction with, to rape, mutilate, molest and use me for my treasures, with no regard for the true meaning of Life and all that I have given to give you.
Consequently, when I cannot take any more of your abuse I retaliate with; earthquakes, tornadoes, violent storms, hurricanes, and yes, tsunami. Much like the woman who has suffered years and years of abuse at the hands of the man that says loves her. At the point that she realizes her patient wait is in vain, she finally acknowledges that if she does not protect herself she will lose her life. And so she does, then the world asks “how could she do that to him?”
The same is true of your relationship with me. You have abused me to the point where I now see that my patient wait is too, in vain. And I retaliate with violent weather, and then you say what is going on? I wish this weather would just act right! Never considering the role you have played in this relationship. When you strip me of my vital resources it has an adverse effect on me. I am no longer complete therefore I become unstable and my actions become increasingly unpredictable, much like the abused woman.
Some would say “Mother Nature” did not create the planet “God” did. My question in response is; then why do you not appreciate God’s hard labor and effort to bring forth an environment that would sustain your very existence? An environment, that apparently you could not produce yourselves, and unfortunately cannot restore or replace what you are so systematically destroying.
I do not have to discourse long to prove the current status of my Pain, modern science has done so. The waters are polluted—I am the water. Species of all kinds that are vital to the ecological system are dying off daily—I am the ecological system. You’re drilling into my soul looking for oil as though the foundation that you destroy will fill back up overnight—I am the foundation. Your food supply can no longer give you adequate nourishment because the soil is depleted and cannot give what it does not possess—I am the soil. The rate of sickness has risen beyond any logical explanation.
You suffer from deadly respiratory diseases. WHY? Because, I Mother Earth, have been raped to the point of having nothing to give. You have destroyed the oxygen giving water—I am the water. You have cut down 90% of my oxygen giving foliage and replaced it with cement—I am the foliage–and in the realm of logic that means–, I Am Oxygen!
You wonder why your children are born with these same deadly diseases. Modern science has determined that I, your home—Planet Earth—Mother Earth once had 16% of Rain Forests worldwide, they have since determined that there is now less than 4% and if the status quo continues it will be destroyed in less than 40 years. While the powers that be, fight for the right to rape and destroy these of my ailing children.
In case you did not know, the main source of OXYGEN comes from the Rain Forest. OXYGEN is what you require to live. Your asthma rates have gone off the charts, do you not see the connection? And while you are not personally responsible for the mutilation of the Rain Forest you are as a collective. As well as individually responsible in the areas that you do have control over.
Such as, instead of using chemical fertilizers on your grass why not use something natural that will not destroy the soil–remember! I am the soil. Do you litter? Do you not teach your children to have respect for the Earth? Have you cut down all the trees in your personal Rain Forest–your yard? There are natural ways to deal with whatever ails your natural existence.
The best analogy is the human body. Sickness strikes you because you have failed to understand what your body requires for optimum life.
Your solution is to mask the symptoms with chemicals when in actuality sickness, pain and fever is your body’s way of telling you there is an imbalance, and because you have failed to understand your body, you see this as an attack and seek to nullify and wage war against your self-induced discomfort with drugs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals or however you choose to define it.
It is unnatural for you, and consequently causes more imbalances within you. And you continue to take chemical after chemical to mask the latest symptom caused by the previous chemical. Until eventually you have poisoned your entire system and it can no longer hold the energy level required for healing, resulting in terminal illness.
This is how you treat me. Instead of seeking to understand me and what is required to keep me producing that which is vital to your existence. You minimize my symptoms of violent weather, mudslides, and yes tsunami, and convince yourselves that I’m attacking you.
When in reality your ailing body and the violent weather is a manifestation of the real issues of pure neglect and abuse. You ignore, and the pain intensifies–the violent weather intensifies, and you ignore, and it continues to intensify and then . . . Your body gives up, the Earth gives up.
Your scientist and religious community speak so eloquently about THE GREAT EARTHQUAKE! Have you ever asked yourself, what would cause such an event? Do you think that neglect and abuse could cause an event of this magnitude? Or would it just simply be an attack on innocent you, again?
So you see, how you treat yourselves is the only way you can treat others, including Me, Mother Earth. Has it not occurred to you that you cannot destroy me without destroying yourselves. Because I am your Home, the only one you know – or at least remember.
When you remember how to love yourself, in that instant you will love me again.
