“Winning At All Cost” an OXYMORON

Is it really possible to “win at all cost”? When I think of this ridiculous statement my mind continues to just loop. Simply because the way I add, subtract, multiply and divide based on my life experiences, there can be no “win” under these conditions – the statement implicitly denotes a total loss within itself. If one wins at all costs it has in actuality cost them everything they have, hence the operative word “All” which leaves nothing including the “thing” they sacrificed everything they had to try to “WIN”.

That’s because the only time this Mode of Operandi is used is in the case of thieves, someone that is trying to get something that does not belong to them and is not worthy of in the first place, otherwise, it would be a win because it would already be rightfully theirs, therefore, they would not be left empty-handed – and out in the cold.

Which is the loss of qualities, traits, and possessions they once had before the attempted theft – leaving them with absolutely nothing because they failed to see that you cannot sacrifice someone else without sacrificing yourself first and foremost.

This is my short discourse (yes I have a long version) of the ridiculous concept of “Winning At All Cost” it simply means that ultimately you end up losing everything, how is it a “WIN” if it cost you “EVERYTHING” leaving you “NOTHING”? Including that which was supposed to be “THE BIG WIN”!
