The dictionary defines it as; The quality or condition of being toxic or poisonous. We generally view toxins as something that can kill us instantaneously such as, snake venom, anthrax, or carbon monoxide to name a few. However, to the human body, a toxin is anything that disturbs the balance of one’s internal systems or state of mind.
For example, mucus is a necessary biofluid to prevent internal friction, but in excess can be quite detrimental to us — especially when it becomes crystallized and lodged in our sinuses, lungs, joints, and other internal organs.
The average person rarely views the concept of toxins as something that originates from within the body, but in actuality, the toxins that our bodies must endure, and overtime if unchecked, succumbs to, are a result of the denatured foods and substances we consume on a daily basis throughout our lifetime.
How To Eliminate Toxicity The elimination of toxicity is achieved in four direct ways. First, it is a case of not producing toxicity in the first place, by choosing to consume only foods that allow our body to sustain itself.
Secondly, toxicity is eliminated by giving our internal systems the time to rest and re-balance by eating simple foods such as raw vegetables, fruit, and fresh juices that helps dissolve toxins in the bloodstream.
Thirdly, we eliminate toxicity by honoring our bodies through rest, so that we are not sleep-deprived, the body does its deepest healing when we are asleep. Finally, toxicity is prevented and eliminated, by not allowing the body to become dehydrated, water is the medium by which toxins are flushed.
