Aging as we know it is a dis-eased state, the human body was encoded to sustain and heal itself indefinitely. We experience this phenomenon when we injure ourselves, the healing we experience and generally take for granted is proof that our bodies are genetically programmed to regenerate.
So, what is it that causes a body that was once vibrant and healed itself, to lack the required vitality and fail to regenerate?
Aging is a process that happens because the body has accumulated so many built-up toxins that it is unable to maintain the arduous task of neutralizing toxins, preventing damage to cells, and repairing new damage, while simultaneously keeping the general maintenance
systems functioning properly, even as it endures the many emotional stresses of life. When we allow our bodies to reach this stage of degeneration, we begin to experience what we term as old age, which is nothing more than an extreme depletion of vital nutrients and energy.
Every day that we fail to provide our bodies with the proper nutrients on all levels of our being, additional damaged cells are produced, be it through nutritional imbalances or emotional disturbances.
The level of energy that is required to repair and maintain in relation too, one’s available energy level, is simply not enough to keep all systems going, so the body eventually realizes, after many attempts to save itself, it’s a losing battle – and surrenders.
We erroneously believe, when we reach a certain age, we are supposed to have aches, pains, and disorders as though it’s a glorious rights-of-passage, we hear it all the time
“You know what happens when you reach 40, your body just starts breaking down”.
This only holds true because we have failed to take the time, to find out exactly what our bodies require for true sustainability, with little regard for the fact that we are the primary caretaker of our personal well-being.
The average woman” hates” water, yet she constantly pangs when she looks in the mirror and sees dull blotchy wrinkled skin, tired eyes, slumped posture, and sagging muscles.
Never realizing that years and years of dehydration, easy and quick denatured food, and undue stress levels is the very cause of her condition. She would rather risk her life on surgical procedures than take the time, to first understand what her body requires, then honor that knowledge by nourishing all aspects of herself mind, body, and soul.
Have you ever heard the following statements?
“I never drink water, I hate water”
“Oh! I don’t eat vegetables”
“I don’t eat anything healthy, I don’t like healthy food”
“My mother and grandmother ate the same way and they lived to be really old”
“I don’t believe in that health stuff”
It’s sad that people take pride in the above statements, if you live your entire life consuming lifeless foods and detrimental substances, never detoxing your body, and do not control your reaction to stressful situations wholesomely; the only thing that can result, is a physical break down, wrinkles, and aches and pains. Once we allow our cellular energy to decimate, we simply no longer possess the ability to regenerate.
As phenomenal as our bodies are in their ability to heal, they do have a breaking point, that point is called old age, it is an unnatural state of progressive decay that really does not have to be.
There is no logical reason why a woman in her 50′s, 60′s or older, should NOT resemble herself at the age of 20. Most of us have experienced, seeing a picture of someone that we did not know when they were younger, and are unable to recognize the person in the picture, and the response is generally to ask in quiet amazement: “ Is this you?
So, in answer to the question, Yes! The Signs of Aging Can Be Reversed provided one has not reached a point where the cells have become so depleted that they have developed amnesia, and simply cannot remember, who they are and what they are supposed to do.
The real problem is that society has been trained from birth to approach life from a band-aid perspective; the average person just wants a “pill fix” but is not willing to do the work of prevention. Generally, one makes changes long enough to get what they want, when they see results, they stop and end up in the same condition – and then say it didn’t work.
One of the side-effects of good health is liking what you see when you look in the mirror, but if it’s the only
motivation, one’s attempt to reverse the signs of aging at best, will be short-lived, at worst, will never manifest because the motive behind the action is not grounded in sound principles, therefore the passion that commits, motivates, encourages, and truly supports and sustains will be non-existent, and old habits will rule yet again.
Good health demands commitment to ourselves, commitment means we nourish and honor our bodies solely for health’s sake. Not to just simply look good, and certainly, not to make another feel bad about how they look, but because we honor our very existence. The Why, of what we do, matters – because motive directly affects the outcome.
